Jimmy brings the product vision behind LifeVibe, shaped by entrepreneurship, data, wellness, and a personal interest in nature, aquariums, and meaningful lifestyle experiences.
Vibe JA began with two friends who met in high school while working on a science and technology project about water, environmental health, and microfiber pollution. What started as a shared project became a friendship, then a bigger question: could we build something meaningful together? After later attending the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB), that question eventually became Vibe JA LLC — and LifeVibe became our first major product.

Alex brings an athlete’s perspective on training, recovery, discipline, and everyday wellness, helping shape LifeVibe around practical routines and long-term consistency.
Five years, a few unexpected turns, and one shared way of looking at life.
We met in high school with different interests and a shared love for animals: Jimmy was drawn to reef aquariums and ecosystems, while Alex loved physics, fitness, and his Samoyed, Duo. Those interests brought us to a shared belief that still shapes Vibe JA: care for life, stay curious, and help people feel better in their everyday lives.

Concern for marine pollution led Jimmy to explore a washing-machine microfiber filter. Alex joined the project, and we began turning an idea into something tangible. Along the way, we discovered how naturally we worked together — thoughtful about the details, serious about the quality of what we made.

By the time we arrived at UC Santa Barbara, we already knew we shared more than a way of working. We both enjoyed the little things that make life richer — personal interests, healthy routines, and the satisfaction of doing something well. We started imagining what we might build together next.
October 2023Our first business direction was a wellness-minded beverage space in Santa Barbara. But as we explored the market, we realized the part we cared about most wasn't the drink itself. It was the experience around it: helping people make better choices and enjoy everyday life a little more. That realization led us toward software.

Today, LifeVibe is our first step toward that bigger idea. We're building technology that makes daily wellness feel clearer, more personal, and easier to live with. What started as two students building something together has grown into a shared commitment to creating thoughtful products for real life.
